Why We Built This Site

Public access in Texas begins with identifying the custodian. Cindy Fowler, the Medina County District Clerk, keeps records for the 454th Judicial District Court, while the County Clerk maintains County Court at Law and county-level indexes. Justice and municipal courts keep their own citation records. The county's Tyler Public Access portal and the statewide re:SearchTX service provide additional routes, but neither removes the need to choose the correct court.
